Homeless Veterans
The Supportive Services for Veteran Families programs are offered by Volunteers or North Louisiana and by The Wellspring. These programs help Veterans and their families avoid homelessness. Services are available in all 12 NELA parishes (Caldwell, East Carroll, Franklin, Jackson, Lincoln, Madison, Morehouse, Ouachita, Richland, Tensas, Union and West Carroll.)

What services are available for Veterans families?

Supportive Services for Veteran Families Program
This program helps eligible Veterans and their families get quickly rehoused. They must be homeless or within 14 days of homelessness to receive these services. Our team also helps them address the issues that led to their homelessness by connecting them with the necessary services, including VA benefits.

The Wellspring Supportive Services for Veteran Families Program Offer:
Housing counseling and search assistance
Vocational rehabilitation counseling
Educational assistance
Healthcare services
Referrals for obtaining VA and community benefits
